01What data we collect

To provide our services we may process the following categories of personal data:

• correspondence and requests to REDNET support;

• technical information about the device, the browser and the use of the website.

We try to collect only the data that is necessary for the relevant purpose.

• to provide hosting, VPS, domain and other services;
• to manage orders, payments and billing;
• to provide technical support;
• to communicate with the customer about the services;
• to keep systems and accounts secure;
• to detect and prevent fraud, unauthorised access and other violations;
• to meet legal and tax obligations;
• to improve REDNET's services and the operation of the website.

Depending on the specific case, the legal basis for processing may be:

• entering into or performing a contract with the customer;
• compliance with a legal obligation imposed on REDNET;
• the legitimate interests of REDNET or a third party;
• the customer's consent, where consent is required for the processing.

Where providing data is necessary to create an account or receive a specific service, the service may not be available if the data is not provided.

03Cookies and technical data

REDNET uses cookies and similar technologies for the proper operation of the website, customer authentication, security and a better user experience.

Essential cookies are required for the basic functions of the website and the customer account to work.

If REDNET uses analytics or other non-essential cookies that require the customer's consent, they are used on the basis of that consent.

The customer can also manage cookies from their browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect the operation of certain website functions.

The website rednet.ge currently uses the following cookies:

• rednet_consent — your choice about cookies (essential; kept for 12 months);
• _GRECAPTCHA — Google reCAPTCHA, spam protection for the contact forms (essential, security; only on pages with a form; kept for 6 months);
• _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics 4, website usage statistics (analytics; only with your consent; kept for up to 2 years).

You can give or withdraw consent to analytics cookies at any time via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the website. Until you consent, or if you decline, no analytics cookies are set.

04With whom we may share data

REDNET does not sell its customers' personal data.

Data may be shared only to the extent necessary for the relevant purpose, including with:

• payment service providers;
• domain registrars, registries and the relevant technical partners;
• data centre, infrastructure and technical service providers;
• other authorised processors involved in delivering REDNET's services;
• state, judicial or law-enforcement authorities, where the transfer of data is required by law.

Data is shared with third parties only where there is a valid legal basis and only to the extent necessary.

05International data transfers

REDNET's core infrastructure may be located in Georgia; however, when certain third-party services are used, personal data may be processed or transferred outside Georgia.

Such a transfer takes place only in accordance with the applicable law and where appropriate safeguards for data protection are in place.

06How long we keep data

We keep personal data only for as long as is necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected, or for as long as its retention is required by law.

When determining the retention period we take into account:

• the period during which the customer account and the services are active;
• the limitation periods for possible claims and disputes after the contractual relationship ends;
• tax, financial and other legal obligations;
• the need to keep security, fraud-prevention and system logs.

Once retention is no longer needed, the data is deleted, destroyed or, where appropriate, anonymised.

07How we protect data

REDNET applies appropriate technical and organisational security measures to reduce the risk of unauthorised access to, alteration, loss, disclosure or destruction of personal data.

Such measures may include:

• SSL/TLS encrypted connections;
• access control and authentication;
• security logging and monitoring;
• technical protection of the infrastructure;
• restricting access to personal data to duly authorised persons only.

No system for transmitting or storing data over the internet is absolutely secure; however, REDNET takes reasonable measures to reduce the risks.

08Your rights

Within the limits set by the legislation of Georgia, the customer has the right to:

• receive information about the processing of their personal data;
• request access to the data held about them and a copy of it;
• request the correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• in the cases provided for by law, request the erasure or destruction of data;
• request the restriction or blocking of data processing;
• in the cases provided for by law, object to the processing of data;
• in the relevant cases, request data portability;
• withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.

The customer also has the right to apply, in the manner prescribed by law, to the supervisory authority for personal data protection or to a court.

09Marketing communications

REDNET sends advertising or marketing communications to the customer only where there is a valid legal basis for doing so.

If the communication is based on the customer's consent, the customer may opt out at any time using the method given in the relevant message or by contacting REDNET.

Essential notifications about the service, billing, security, the account or legal matters are not marketing communications.

10Changes to this Policy

REDNET may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in line with changes in legislation, technology or services.

The current version of the Policy and the date of the last update are always published on the REDNET website.

In the event of material changes REDNET notifies the customer by appropriate and reasonable means.
